I hope you are right. On the other hand it may make it less urgent for Apple to capture IDCC.

With IDCC being a money making company, maybe all the bidders will withdraw their Bids..

I am now beginning to believe even a consortium of companies may not bid.

If they did so, then it would not be beyond reason that those three companies receive free IDCC IPR and then keep IDCC as a separately run Company.
