I think that has been true for any of the standards. It is a tough but valuable business model. IMO.

warbil... Here's what data has said about IDCC's 4G/lte patents and just recently affirmed his original statement and I tend to believe since there's been few signings (2) he's got something there. mo.. nic

......and if the company really had the majority of what could be essential 4G patents....they wouldn't be dicking around with a consortium or the Nortel patents, and they would have already declared their rate and signed up the industry

After 12 plus years I must say either management is incompetent or they have lied about what they have that is necessary for the cell phone industry, and it doesn't matter which one at this point. No matter what the excuse the years have gone by with the same old story and 15 percent short on the stock. Either way the job is not getting done and I have to admit Mschere was right when he said there will be 10 shareholders standing when all is said and done. I for one have reduced my holding drastically since I watched this walk down in the late 90's and do not intend to watch it happen again.

AJMHO not worth much but disappointed in the unfullfilled promises I have heard through the years. Still holding but much easier to sleep at night.
