L2V,

GREAT post !!!

Risk to reward ratio is never as easy as we hope. In IDCC's case we must have the goods because they are fighting like hell to keep from paying for it ! A thief is a thief is a thief and when you take something that is not yours and you don't pay for it, that makes you a thief. IDCC has tried repeatidly to grant defered adjudication to all those dining at it's trough, but most have refused to accept it and pay the toll...

We will get paid. Maybe not what it is worth, but we will be paid.

Best regards,
johnny

L2V:

I couldn't agree with you more. The problem I see is what happens when our BIG brother companies on OUR soil with prestige on Wall Street, a lot of power, influence with the politicians, etc. decide that they don't want our little FLEA on their turf because they may somehow feel threatened by a team of engineers that may have more to contribute to the industry than theirs?

I think these companies view competition differently and could care less about our USA trade imbalance. Seems like I recall that during the MOT debacle there was reference made of IDCC taking jobs away from America and we all know how that turned out.

L2V, After seeing NOK's filing and the way they chose to characterize IDCC, I have seen bits and pieces of different post that should be sent to IDCC's lawyers to be included as part of the rebuttal to NOK's charges. Your argument about protecting the intellectual property that is uniquely produced here in the USA is one of them.
