IDCC is breaking new ground with their business model. IMO IDCC investors need to fully understand(and appreciate) the risk/reward scenario, and the "time to money" considerations, that are "in play" when a small company sets it's goals on getting something like that done.(IMO they are about to move a mountain out of the way in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!)

Everybody knows that manufacturing jobs are being moved to the "lowest cost" locations, and what that reality will mean to the U.S. workforce(and economy!) over time. It ain't a pretty picture given the way things have gone so far. The good news is that America has always been able to adapt and show leadership in whatever the global marketplace required.

If manufacturing jobs are going to be located where the "lowest cost" combination of labor, transportation, and tax expenses dictate,... seems like it make a LOT of sense to get behind protecting the rights, value, and enforcement of patented inventions. If they are going to make the products we buy "over there" somewhere and charge us for the transportation costs to get it "back here", I'm thinking we better make certain that any U.S. engineers and scientists involved in making it possible get paid something! Something "fair and reasonable" however long that takes, not some "chump change" joke a cheat like Nokia wants to pay for the U.S. technology they are using to make billions.(See how longer can be better?..."peanuts" now vs prime cut beef with all the fixings and served with a good beverage later. ok,... keep reading.)

IDCC management could have licensed Nokia, and every other cheating wireless manufacturer YESTERDAY if they were willing to take the "chump change" those creeps are willing to pay.(Gonna leave the "IMO" off that statement because it's a fact, Jack!)

Getting paid what your product is worth is never easy(ever sell a car or a house?). When that product is "patented technology" and the world has to learn that infringement has adverse consequences for even the big and the bad players, it can take a little longer. I LIKE the "line in the sand" fight we see IDCC management waging with the big and the bad. I'm gonna be right here cheering them on for as long as it takes to get what we deserve.

(BTW - The IDCC champions appear to be doin' real good right now. They have Nasty Nokia up against the ropes and sputtering nonsense between gasps. Tic, toc. Round 1 scorecard from the IDCC judge due before this month ends.)

Folks with another view or agenda are just so many ants and gnats at my picnic. You can either ignore 'em, or get distracted into stomping and smacking them. My eyes are gonna stay fixed on the horizon and what IDCC management is doing. Ska - ruuuu any and all of the pesky little buggers who might try distracting this IDCC long! Not gonna happen.
