Brad,

NO flamage!!! Mark that post, reccommend, etc, etc. All should read it and take heed. The game has just moved to a new level and it is going to get nasty.

What most shareholders need to ask themselves, is why do they want this comapny soo bad? and why on the cheap? make no mistakes about it, this isn't a proposal for the "good of the shareholders" and to help "increase shareholder value" no matter what the "pundits" will say or post that it is.

it is a pure blatent "back door" attempt to get control of the company and sell it off.

mark this post and yours (if they don't get deleted) it will ring true if they get control.

Danny and F-6, Thanks to both of you for providing comments on the proposal.

This bolded comment by Danny makes a lot of sense. Personally I don't think a one year term is a good idea. There isn't a city or state in the whole USA that would elect a mayor,a governor or a judge and expect to see improvements in one year.

"What can a Director do in one year to demonstrate that he or she should be re-elected? Every one of them will be campaigning for re-election the day after the ASM every year. How much time can he or she afford to put into long range plans for the company when the shareholders constantly have their fingers on the "what have you done for me lately" trigger. What about management? How would you like to face the prospect of getting an entirely new set of bosses each year?

Brad,

A very clear, concise and insightful post. I agree 100%!

I too will be voting FOR Harry and AGAINST Corp_Buyer (et.al) and their "trojan horse" attempt to take control of our undervalued (currently) investment. While my limited 'control' may be insignificant, a few hundred thousand shares have my ear and have already been notified of this insidious attempt to override the attempts of management to bear edible fruit. In fact, I will be headed to South Florida tomorrow to attend the 80th Birthday celebration of one of your fellow alumni, and I look forward to the insightful discussions that will ensue. I will be a very small tree amongst some intellectual GIANTS in attendance and I look forward the additional insight that they will provide.

Best to ALL longs.

Sincerely,

Hydro_gen aka Jim Gilbert

I think you should look under the carpet, perhaps you missed some commies. Hopefully you will give your sage wisdom and endless circular lectures to the folks that live in Atomic land, and we can have some peace here.

What is the timing that investors (e.g. institutional) need to execute their proxy votes relative to the ASM and Arbitration ruling? TIA

DannyD just to set the record straight you said:

...."I am equally certain that Mr. Marchma willingly played "good cop" during this period in the belief that he will personally benefit in the end well beyond any appreciation in his IDCC stock."

People have falsely accused me of a lot of things on this message board. Some have accused me of being a short, which I am not and never have been. Some have said that I am just a disgruntled shareholder, due to losing a lot of money on IDCC options or on margin. I have never bought or sold options in IDCC, nor have I ever been forced to sell IDCC stock due to a margin call. I have been accused of having aspirations to be on IDCC's Board of Directors. I have no such aspiration, fully realizing that I do not have the necessary background and credentials to be a Director in a public corporation.

Now you are accusing me of some type of personal benefit well beyond any appreciation in the stock price. Again this is another accusation about me that is not true. I have never been paid by anyone re IDCC, nor do I ever anticipate being paid by anyone in the future re IDCC. The ONLY benefit to me from IDCC will be from stock price appreciation. I have said repeatedly that I am a long-term proactive investor in IDCC, interested only in improving the company and my investment results.

I think some of the points raised by Corp_Buyer are valid points. I have agreed with some of his points, and disagreed with others. I have never told him what to post, and he has never told me what to post. However, I do very much agree with him that this company and my investment will do better without Mr. Campagna as its CoB and Director.

Danny Detail: Thanks for putting in words what I have been saying for over a year. Let's hope your post is a wake up call to all that want to make money in IDCC. With Corp & his bunch they will be the only ones that come out ahead.
