Weby - peter-meter: downloading-digital-content-to-hard-drive; central patent. i'm not suggesting that other patents in Wave's IP portfolio are necessarily not as valuable but, AS THAT GUY ON THIS MSSG BOARD SAYS: "We don't really know". So, 'til we have a handle on this issue, we continue driving while blind.

simple as that. i'm not claiming bad or wrong. i'm claiming that anyone risking there money OUGHT TO HAVE FULL RECOGNITION OF THIS LAND-MINE THAT MAY EXPLODE OR TURN OUT TO BE A DUD.

Weby as I do not like 50's post's and have challenged him in the past he does have a valid point. This board has not, will not or simply does not know much about Waves patents moving forward. We might be 1st mover but if a verisign, mcaffee, or even Mr. softee decides to enter the fray when, if, patents expire where does it leave Wave?

weby patents

Intuitively I agree with your comments about the patents. In today's world it is impossible (for us) to discern what aspects of wave's IP are the most valuable. Not everything of value is patented in the first place and second it is tough to say the meter patent is the company just because it was the original concept. But also very importantly Wave's business and its relationships will not expire if and when any particular patent expires. And finally its revenue and valuation are not going to be held to pennies because of this question. Unless some new info emerges, I view this as a diversion and likely one of the issues the shorts will raise if and when Wave becomes successful.
