Has it occurred to you that the first Peter Meter patent may not have ANY implications for the much morphed processes going on today? I admit I don't know the answer, but I know there are two sides to that coin and a lot of newer patents that may be more applicable.
And besides we both know that an involved business relationship providing trust and interoperability first mover advantage does not get lost simply because a patent expires. IP is much more than a patent so stop trying to scare the folks here unless of course, you make a living at it.
