WithCatz, don't BS me. Are you telling me Susman wouldn't be, potentially, a huge difference maker in court on Feb. 8th?
Are you related to Nelson or Sargent or possibly pretty good friends? Because you've seemed to have lost your objectivity on this important matter. Nelson and Sargent have done a great job, but why not have Susman there to accentuate our effort to beat a huge foe with enormous political connections and deep pockets. I don't get your premise.

I disagree with your statement re: if you don't trust them, you shouldn't be invested.

Prior to the "Et tu, Brute?" realization regarding WGM, we fully trusted BR and the rest of the cronies. Once we realized they were not to be trusted, did any of us longs sell and never looked back? We've had so many of these moments (ie Examiner, the judge's "opinion"), but have any of us longs sold out our positions. I, for one, have averaged down and picked up some shares on the cheap.

Sure, JN, SA, and ES have done a phenomenal job, but we're still one illegal decision away from being wiped out.

The fact of the matter is we are Davids going against multiple Goliaths and I agree with some of the other folks here that having Susman there would be another stone in our bag to hit these friggen Goliaths right where it hurts. There's a reason the firm is called Susman Godfrey and not Nelson Godfrey or etc..

Remember, the times Susman showed up were the times when the judge's decisions were monumental. And this discovery motion, along with the cert for appeal straight the 3rd district, are very monumental decisions in this case.

Catz , I agree competely. If Susman did not have faith /trust in his patners/associates in the firm ,then he ( or the firm) would not let them handle /litigate ( possiblbly) the case. There is almost a daily briefing pre-recap/planning session done by all the firms members.Every member in the firm has different strenghts and those strenghts are used to get the desired results in cases of all different magnitudes. As he has said himself ,every case is important to them. IMO .

Catz

Question for You. Do you think that M Goldstein is advising BR how to deal with JMW because she is a female judge and Goldstein is a female. Just throwing it out there. Weil seems to be really traeing MJW very poorly or maybe that is just my take, ie very little respect for the Court.
