You can only claim their testimony is biased if you can prove what they say does not reflect fact. If you read their testimony you will see they back up what they say with factual information from reputable sources. If it were biased then Laidlaw, the State and other experts would be disputing it. But since no one is, or can, one can conclude that their testimony will be looked at by EFSEC for what it is, expert testimony from experienced individuals who know and understand the industry as well as anyone in the State or region for that matter.

Read it and weep. The best is yet to come IMO. Like when PSNH backs off their PPA with Laidlaw because they know they won’t get it past the PUC given the facts presented by Mel. Those pesky facts eh ;)

I especially enjoy the parts where Mel and Bill use Landvest, PSNH and Laidlaw officials own testimony to help make the case against the application. Priceless. Who’s orchestrating this thing for Laidlaw anyway? lol

*The size of the plant is appropriate and it's also looking ahead for future
growth ... Cp's little facility will not be able to handle future growth and will need to expand in the future
where laidlaws facility is appropriately sized... Brungy you live in Berlin nh and guess what if anything needs to be expanded or needs modification guess who pays for that ... YOU (through taxes)... For lack of planning for the future of Berlin nh.

How many more highways and expressways need to be expanded because of poor planning ... Due to growth ... More people, more cars, more transportation, buses ,delivery trucks to major stores, malls etc etc etc

Wake up the future is about growth that's why we are here on this message board and talking about what is needed in Berlin nh ... Your power supply is
needed and planning is important now and in the future ...

Biomass energy plants are needed in NH ...

In the mean time don't forget you'll be also receiving tax money to help the community ...

And creation of jobs and more ....

To be continued. ;)

I was very impressed with that read. I hope Laidlaw does have some answers to help clarify the wood basket issues brought up in that testimony.

But the NHSEC needs to also look at the impact on the city of Berlin and the state of NH negative and positive. Truckers bring in money for diners and flower shops. They also bring noise and traffic. Ying and Yang

If the cost of fuel was too much for Laidlaw and they needed to close the plant that would be gut wrenching. According to the Testimony of Pamela E. Laflamme there would be a fund setup that will allow the teardown of the plant. After all we would not want you to see an empty building again.

The only issue I have is the fact that this comes from a direct competitor to Laidlaw. If Laidlaw was to get their permit, Clean power would have very little chances of becoming built in Berlin.

Good luck to all. I am not smart enough that is why we have politicians....
