The Seattle news, both the article and the radio show, is just a harbinger of what to expect in 2010. The media is starting to turn the corner here, and imo that could push settlement further along than anything else. If the big news companies somehow start reporting on this or can't deny it as a legitimate story, eventually Dimon is going to have to give in.
I honestly don't think any court pressure will do it here, however more wins or decisions for WMI could fuel the media fire.
Settlement is going to come down to 'perception', if Dimon and Bair 'perceive' that they are in jeopardy but not doing so - then they will meet WMI's price and this will all be over.
I don't think we're anywhere near that point yet, but am hopeful for 2010.
