Classic...............!

They didnt retire the issued prefereds they retired the "Non-issued" prefered shares and converted them to common.
"ALL THE "ISSUED" PREFEREDS ARE STILL OUT THERE"
Who in their right mind would try to bend light and put it in a good one. ?????????????????????????????

The "non-issued" prefereds have no bearing on the OS unless issued.
The "non-issued" common would have no bearing as well.
If you trust they will not issue ???????????????????

rocketone1

The whole point was if they had the money to pay the divy, they were making money. So should I now assume they DON"T have the money to pay for additional converted shares if the offer still stood?

"The rest of your note complains about the company's past performance. Obviously, I agree they have done a lot of things wrong, but I don't see how that makes today's PR bad."

Wrong. The rest of the post states facts about what the company did and didn't do. I didn't make it up. And yes, I thought buying a stock WAS about performance. If not, who would but a stock for NON performance other than a shorter? I can tolerate positive posts just as well as negative. But please don't make the assumption that positive is pumping, and negative is bashing. In both cases, it's simply an opinion. If we weren't all in this mess together, we wouldn't be posting here.

rock1, they still have $140M of Preferreds out there. 14M at a par $10 each. This is like saying "we got rid of 90% of your cancer and that is a good thing". Well, yes, in a way it is...
