It really is easy to do. There are so many "no knead" and quick bread recipes out there that produce good eats.
Sourdough bread is popular. Here's a link to a good basic no knead sourdough.
You just need to make the sourdough starter and keep it fed.
I named my starter "Bob". He's happy, healthy and produces nice bread.

Don't be afraid to try it . You may have some flops, but it's cheap to try, and when you get the hang of it, you will love it.

I was in a grocery/market/bakery this morning. The smell was awesome.
I'm a big fan of their pretzels.

Dude, try this one to start, it make take a bit longer to rise than stated, but it will get you started. Before long you'll be a bread making fool. WATCH THE VIDEO

No knead Sandwich Bread Recipe

This makes 2 loaves, for 1 loaf follow the = symbols

5 cups bread Flour = 2 ½ cups or (All Purpose Flour)
1/4 cup Sugar = 2 tbsp
1 Tsp Salt = ½ tsp
1-1/2 Tbsp Yeast = 2 ¼ tsp
2-1/2 Cups Milk = 1 ¼ cup or (Water)
4 Tbsp butter = 2 tbsp
1 Egg for egg wash (optional)

I used all purpose flour and water instead of bread flour and milk. It came out great.

Stir all in large plastic bowl, cover bowl, let rest 5 minutes, stir again rise 1 hour in covered bowl, put in bread pan let rise again.

On the last rise with the dough in the bread pan, for me it took longer than 15 minutes for it to rise. I’d say at least 30 - 45 minutes. You want the dough just a little over the top of the bread pan.

I also didn’t use butter and flour in the bread pan, I just used PAM.

Just remember fresh bread doesn’t last as long as store bought bread because it has no preservatives. This bread is so good right of the oven with oodles of butter, mmm mmm

Bake at 375 pre-heated oven for 30 minutes.

I didn’t use the egg wash.
