I really need to try my hand at baking bread. I miss the bakeries from NYC that baked fresh bread every day. They had a slicer that would cut up the loaves.

There was a Sunbeam bakery just off the 59th bridge in Queens and the smell was fantastic late at night coming off the bridge from Manhattan.
