A lot of shareholders would have been glad of $10 a share two years ago or even last year.
But as soon as that type of buyout offer gets to their attention it would validate their investment and even many disillusioned shareholders would have said ‘Why not $15 or $20.’
The price goes up and NWBO could finance at sustainable levels.
Normally Big Pharma could just wait until the brink of insolvency and negotiate like Crassus and his firefighters but that will not work with Ms. Powers. Big Pharma also has some pull with the regulators and that could explain if one believes in conspiracies why this has taken 2 years post data lock even in the UK but it is hard to shut the door at all 3 regulators forever especially when patients and doctors are slowly waking up.
BP cannot afford DCVAX now the pathway to being a platform across all cancers is being established. The patent coverage is extensive, NWBO owns the Eden device and manufacturing patents, looks like CRL through Memphis can take care of US manufacturing. If NWBO becomes SOC what does BP bring to the table. The only thing they can bring now is partnerships and funds to quickly include their CI’s. You fail to see the big picture if you are still thinking 10 to 20 per share is acceptable. Most longs who truly understand the potential will not accept such a low ball offer. IMHO
1) Why buy a company with a drug that may not work? The drug did poorly re. time to progression and may not ever get approved. Just too risky. 2) The company has said many times they are going it alone. Let's wait for the PR designation from the FDA. That should change the dynamic. If the data is as compelling as many on this board think it is, that should definitely happen. If they cannot get that designation or do not apply for it, that would speak volumes.
