Here are the reasons I do not see a buyout:

1) Why buy a company with a drug that may not work? The drug did poorly re. time to progression and may not ever get approved. Just too risky.
2) The company has said many times they are going it alone.
Let's wait for the PR designation from the FDA. That should change the dynamic.
If the data is as compelling as many on this board think it is, that should definitely happen. If they cannot get that designation or do not apply for it, that would speak volumes.
