Bassitt and Walker are having exceptional regular seasons supported by an outstanding line up. I'm not underestimating them at all when I put them in the 2nd tier or lower of MLB starters. I'd even say that the Astros playoff rotation last year was better than Bassitt and Walker and we saw what happened there.
When was the last time a team went deep in the post season without a tier 1 ace? Or an Eovaldi who rose to the occasion? To me it's pretty basic: Come game 6, would you rather face your Walker or Walker Buehler, (assuming he's healthy)?
