Coming soon is a real thing, discussed in journals and articles about FDA rules, but also it is no longer quite a firm thing, meaning the FDA doesn’t want false or too early advertising, and would engage in enforcement, but it doesn’t necessarily mean approval is in 6 months, or at least that is what I got from my reading on the subject. It is a bit outdated, so not quite what it once was in terms of strictness. But they definitely have rules limiting the kinds of bags we saw, using the trademark or brand, except in a coming soon campaign. MID was correct on what he said. Doesn’t matter if some don’t believe in it. That is irrelevant. Whether you believe or not, like the earth being round, it doesn’t matter if you believe it’s flat. You can still manage with a false belief. It won’t change your life.
And coming soon doesn’t mean it WAS or WILL BE approved, just that there is something in process or pending, from my understanding. I have not reviewed what I had read at the time, I am going on memory.
