This reinforces the need for good trial results to use the levers that the system provides to pry open the doors.

Will Dr. Missling get credit for designing good trials if the results are good? Will people acknowledge the efforts, which we have witnessed, and the obstacles he faced and thank him properly or will they just say; look at the money, that’s enough?

If Blarcamesine gets approval I believe, fantasize, call it what you want, will help a lot of people and they will be appreciative. Will his name be listed along with; Lister, Semmelweis, Pasteur, et al. ?

One thing is certain, all the nonsense that gets spewed about Anavex will be forgotten quickly.

Falconer, thanks for this item illuminating the groundbreaking medical discoveries (and subsequent unjust punishment) of Ignaz Semmelweis. Also, thanks for taking the time over the past year(s) to elucidate the workings and effects of blarcamesine.

Sadly, the amyloid theory's persistence reflects greater cultural fallacies run amok in the 21st century (defunding police immediately comes to mind). The tragic example of Dr Semmelweis nearly two centuries ago shows that groupthink human failure is not new, nor will it be eradicated this side of Christ's return. May 2022 serve as a disinfectant for such ignorance.
