File a formal complaint against him with the Tennessee Bar for nott explaining to you that you were waiving a CONflict he had by also representing XU on the other side of the deal.
Even if there is a CONflict waiver embedded in the CONtract, inform the Bar that MILLS never explained it to you and you didnt know about it until AFTER they allegedly stiffed you afterwards.
Mr. Principal. It's looking like you got more than you bargained for. I'm still sticking with my contention that you KNEW these guys operations and knew the crew to be bad actors and crooks, but you miscalculated how swiftly and ruthlessly they could wipe you out. Maybe you even believed you're smarter than them and you were going to pull it over on them.

You should really, sincerely try to communicate with shajandr, or even just do what that post lays out for you. Shajandr has been 100% right on the results of any scam he's posted on and the outcomes of the officers. Maybe not always correct about the time limits, but that's not in control of anyone, and by the way, shajandr has been sadly and brutally correct about covid-19. He doesn't mince his words and he doesn't give any lawyer advice generously.
For your own sake and your wife's, step away from the 'principal and my shareholders' mentality and save yourself.
Aaand on the other side of the coin. As xanaxu shell wrecking crew have communicated to you through their lawyer mouthpiece/parner that had you kept your mouth shut and let them run their scam, you could have made some good money unloading with them. Now you want to go straight or something?
An anology to your sitiuation is a store owner gets robbed but he knew the crew and they promised that his take on the insurance money would be worth it, but he got pissed because they took more from his safe than they said they would and he went to the police. And you're that store owner. Oops.
