So disheartening but true... remembering Du laughing/comment at amrn’s commercial success secondary consideration in her ruling - has not turned into any profit yet... this is really disappointing, two years later after top line, no profit and no many patients aware of V, and company is facing a coin flip (at best) to survive...

Given the new spending on DTC and the stagnation of script growth, how long of a cash runway do we have?

Rose ...if you look at Tucaman's numbers ...please chk

6/12. Trx scripts = 88,463
6/19. Trx scripts = 87,652
6/26 Trx scripts = 85,083
7/3 Trx scripts = 83,904
7/10 Trx scripts = 83,075 .........need to chk that number .

So ...if these numbers are accurate ....do you see a trend here ?

Bottom line ...we are likely to see declining income ( lower scripts ) this Qt ...and increasing costs ...800 sales reps and DTC ads ( millions not billions :-)

We'll know in about 4 wks if these DTC ads are having any affect ...but I suspect avoiding Covid in states like Florida , Texas and Ca is more of a current concern for the R-IT population than getting a Vascepa script.

Billions on DTC ads is a typo, I assume :>) JT predicted not quite BE because he anticipated spending $200M on DTC ads and other promotions, that's not gonna happen now. IIRC we were just barely profitable in Q4/19 but under GAAP accounting when exec comp was taken into account it turned EPS negative. Question of effectiveness of the ads w/o reps in the field is a good one - based on the fact that I still have yet to see the new one on live TV it appears they're saving their ammo for now. The drop in weekly scrips may be more of a sign of financial problems for V takers than lack of interest in getting the drug - many corps have announced broad layoffs are coming, people are tightening their belts to prepare for the worst.
