ALL the same deal to me!!!!!!!! When you put in the H2O from the garden hose, electrolyze it to H2 onboard, use it to run the car in some engine or another...
sounds a lot like the same thing as "hook up the H2 gas bottle & use it to run the car in some engine or another."
Just a case of batteries to break down the H2O versus utility power & bottle swapping...
maybe an application somewhere someday in a limited fashion... but not likely to be the universal solution proponents hope for!
New automotive fuels will work in existing cars and with existing infrastructure with minor modifications. It is just a matter of the oil companies switching over to take advantage of new markets and consumer demand.
Analogy: Organic produce and products were once an oddity found in little health food stores, farm stands and farmers markets. Now there are organic produce and product sections in many if not most US supermarkets.
