Then they should have done it few years ago instead of making bold comments like “BP only brings checkbook”

more tempered sale price of the company

How much do you mean(ballpark)? Has there been any evidence to support BO claims? Other than the investor speculation found here.

Re: your other post about shaking out retail. Why? This would seem like something I definitely don't want my CEO concerned about or burning brain cells on.

Would you consider $20 a share tempered. I do ! I would say the way she sold the property would be a clue for the sale of the company. Sale plus licensing. They have 10 years of research all that data they can use to progress to a higher rung on the ladder with Direct for the topping on the cake. Inmuno is the way now to go BP can't stop it all they can do is develope it. No doubt it will take billion upon billions.

Just my opinion

Flipper, you may be right. You conclusion is consistent with my gut that LP & co has intentionally communicated in a way to curtail the rise in pps.

However, I hope we are wrong. LP's attempt to prevent the base pps from become too high does NOT seem to be consistent with her fiduciary duty to the shareholders. Do you see a problem with this?

Just curious.

Two reasons.

1. They do not want to be seen as pumping when they are about to ask regulators to approve their SAPs.

2. They do not want to alienate BP with a market cap that might go too high upon possible results if the base becomes too high to launch from. It's clear to me that Les and LP's share count are preparing for a more tempered sale price of the company (to assure offers) -- should results be successful.

I will agree with 1. It was as much indicated to me the reason not to release info with respect to the hold while they still have to ask "mother may I" to the FDA.

Flipper’s #2. They do not want to alienate BP with a market cap that might go too high upon possible results if the base becomes too high to launch from. It's clear to me that Les and LP's share count are preparing for a more tempered sale price of the company (to assure offers) -- should results be successful.

IMHO based on looking at lots of M/A’s the comment above is ludicrously preposterous. Not saying any more.
