Flipper, you may be right. You conclusion is consistent with my gut that LP & co has intentionally communicated in a way to curtail the rise in pps.

However, I hope we are wrong. LP's attempt to prevent the base pps from become too high does NOT seem to be consistent with her fiduciary duty to the shareholders. Do you see a problem with this?

Just curious.


Two reasons.

1. They do not want to be seen as pumping when they are about to ask regulators to approve their SAPs.

2. They do not want to alienate BP with a market cap that might go too high upon possible results if the base becomes too high to launch from. It's clear to me that Les and LP's share count are preparing for a more tempered sale price of the company (to assure offers) -- should results be successful.
