Uber, what a f' up of an IPO. Who the f' sells 18 million shares on the open? Didn't the underwriters force a lock-up agreement? Unless the seller was an underwriter selling against the box while shorting the stock. You know they get an over allotment and warrants/options. I have not seen the S-1 and the underwriter agreement. Nor do I care. But sheesh, egg on your face. But it could be a poop and scoop.

So, after this long anecdote, the point is that the upswing in BTC could very well be due to the Chinese peeples wanting to hedge their exposure to the yuan/RMB AND to gett assets abroad in a hidden form that the PRC would presumably have difficulty tracing and CONfiscating via BTC purses as a conduit and/or reservoir of that wealth.

While also willing to take the chance of their bitcoin wallet going poof into thin air or stolen.

There really isn't any thing safe about bitcoin.

So please refrain from PMing anti-Injun epithets to me - they do nott insult me as I am non-Injun and DaWife's only Injun heritage is from the Sauk/Fox tribe in DaUppaMidwess, nott the subCONtinent.

This is shortly after 10 pm Eastern. The Bitcoin has been bid up to $6500 from $6000. Maybe it goes to a new all time high, which was $20,000 two years ago.
