#148346 RE: Traderfan #148345

When I say not worth anything I mean in real life, people of course can do all kind of math on a paper and claim there is value but in real life there is not until you can sell your shares somewhere at a good price and get money for it

That's like saying that people who, as students, save money in a "closed" account is not worth anything (we have some saving accounts with tax benefits where you can't withdraw that money unless you spend it on a house).

You have a point in that you can't expect to sell those shares (at least not for a decent price), but if you have faith in TRW and their ability to list on HKSE (or similar) in 2-3 years, then I have to strongly disagree; we're talking about a 3-bagger in 2-3 years (if the $3.4 value is correct). That would be mind-blowing results for pretty much every retail investor...

Traderfan I think it is nonsense to think that shares that are not traded on a stock exchange have no value. My guess is that fewer than one percent of this kind of companies in my country are listed on a stock exchange. I have read that some think it is fair with a 50% discount for companies that are not traded on a stock exchange. At this stage nobody knows how difficult it will be to sell or buy shares in TRW. I think the real value of these shares will partly depend on how difficult it will be to buy and sell them.

it can't even go up into the ex date

That's because a lot of people believe we are already ex. Because

1) Merkur is ex
2) They don't know about deferred ex-dates
3) FINRA (and the company) are keeping quiet.

I'm done explaining things on this message board. People have been warned. You can take over, although I wouldn't recommend it.

Nov 14, the company better deliver. Or I am a seller on the 15th.
