The patents they own and which are involved in the current lawsuits are worth way more then the ones that ACS bought. Those incomes are just gravy and the patents had to be sold to survive. IMO

Well, you had to be here at the time all this was happening and had to appreciate the financial stress SFOR was under. WhiteSky just screwed them on the Comcast deal which was bringing in nice cash every quarter. Shareholders generally thought the ACS deal was not a good deal on its face, however, Mark Kay said wait and see. If, ACS gets us McAfee and Intel plus other big enterprise names, it was worth doing the deal. Remember, with the GID products ACS has the enterprise deals, the big guys, while SFOR has SMB and retail, selling under Strikeforce. I think we are in a great position at this point, but time will tell, my money is on SFOR...

I fully understand your point. And believing SFOR got the crap end of the deal.

this is not out of the ordinary. To invent and patent product(s) then just take a cut from a company doing all the leg work, marketing, using their contacts to push product, etc. SFOR would not be able to do it on their own.

ACS only lisences PID. I believe that with time, if ACS is signing large contracts and they take off, ultimately SFOR will come out from behind the scenes because if anyone wants to purchase ACS they will learn that SFOR is the patent holder of the OOB MFA portion of the Cygate product among others being marketed.

Especially if they start to win lawsuits. Imagine just 5%-10% of every company infringing added to whatever ACS brings in. SFOR could make more revs. with PID alone than ACS with the deals they may be putting together.

SFOR, IMO, will make a lot more revs getting a piece of the pie from dozens of companies (with enterprise deals) than trying to sell a stand alone product at retail price (PID).

I consider ACS as the channel partner that is paying a fair amount for the keystroke patents and the royalty till 9/2020. what SFOR should ultimately accomplish should be greater than ACS. especially if lawsuits are won.

One long to another. We need news. And I'm willing to wait.

IMO

SORRY FOR BEING ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH THIS POST.
