OT DD, If you can't get your problem solved here try this site on IHUB. They are great with software and hardware issues. It's called the dream machine.

DD

Check your Pop Up Blocker to make sure it is not blocking.

Click on "Tools
Then Pop Up Blocker
Then Pop Up Blocker Settings.

Then turn it off or the best is to enter the "URL" that you want to give you POP ups.

Also easly check before this to see if it is Pop Problem.

Hold down the "control" key when you click on the file.

DD,
I saw the other replies, but I don't think they have the right answer. I recently bought a new laptop and have the very same problem. BUT, when I launch Adobe Acrobat 7.0 - with the non- responsive wirelessledger screen still open - the PDF file loads and appears. I think the issue is that your (and mine) are not set to automatically launch Adobe when there is an attempt to read a PDF file.

In other terms, if you click to open an excel or word file, the excel or word program automatically launches and opens the file. This is not happening with PDF files. There is menu that allows you to specific what program to use to open PDF files. The menu should be used to specify Adobe Acrobat 7.0. Now if I could just find that menu. No really, I cannot find it; but I know it is there.

OT To all who responded about my adobe problem. I tried a couple of the solutions and I was going to install version 6 to my computer and noticed that Adobe just came out with Version 7.0.7 and decided to load that one on instead. I was using 7.0.5. After installing this version, the links now work. It appears to this non techie that the problem was with Adobe and if anyone else is experiencing problems with Adobe, maybe you can try updating to the most recent version. It seems to have worked for me. Thanks again.
