I saw the other replies, but I don't think they have the right answer. I recently bought a new laptop and have the very same problem. BUT, when I launch Adobe Acrobat 7.0 - with the non- responsive wirelessledger screen still open - the PDF file loads and appears. I think the issue is that your (and mine) are not set to automatically launch Adobe when there is an attempt to read a PDF file.

In other terms, if you click to open an excel or word file, the excel or word program automatically launches and opens the file. This is not happening with PDF files. There is menu that allows you to specific what program to use to open PDF files. The menu should be used to specify Adobe Acrobat 7.0. Now if I could just find that menu. No really, I cannot find it; but I know it is there.
