LG, That sums it up in a nutshell imo. As the site(s) grow it would behoove management to take a back seat from the day to day board management so as to not alienate potential customers. I have suggested this before to no avail.

It certainly does not help matters when said management is running ongoing battles at other sites with the same people they have booted here.

I think you're supposed to turn the other cheek. Kinda like in sports, it's always the one responding to the foul that gets busted. But it's sure not always easy to do that.

I just asked a poster the same question they had asked someone else, got jumped, replied, etc. and now all is deleted.

I can see deleting the back and forth, but the question I asked seemed ok to me. No biggie though, as in my case, ALL was deleted.
