Patience. HC is back logged and the cold winter stalled construction. If it takes a couple of extra months you'll have an opportunity to buy cheap shares. Thank your lord for that. Don't pass up a wonderful opportunity. HC is still issuing licenses. It will happen. Stay positive and you will be rewarded.

So hc decides stop giving out licenses, doesn't let anybody know, while people continue to spend money getting their facility up to par, all in vain because for some reason? Hc doesn't want anybody to know there will be no more licenses. You don't really believe that.

I wish we knew too, but I doubt HC has stopped issuing licenses without making that fact public. I'm fairly certain that if that occurred, there would be a lot of companies and investors filing suit.

Below is a list of about 40 ‘prospective LP’s’. These include both companies seeking to enter, and those already somewhere along in the long and complicated process off seeking Licensed Producer (LP) status form Health Canada under the MMPR (Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations). One marker is yellow, to denote this is not a producer for patients, but a ‘genetic clone-bank’ who will grow specific strains for LP’s. If you click on each individual icon, company information is available.

This list is not meant to be all-inclusive. According to Health Canada, there are hundreds of other applicants somewhere in the process. In addition, all locations are approximate, generally based on company addresses. Not all listed addresses are the actual locations of proposed production sites, some are corporate offices. To the best of our ability, we have tried to list the production site when that information is available. This information will be updated as new data becomes available.

Icon location on the map is also approximate so as to accommodate spacing and readability. For example, Alternabis has only listed their location as “BC”, so their icon is in the middle of the Province. Dyma are not necessarily in Hanover, Ont, but list their offices as Toronto. To avoid putting too many close together, we have spread them through the region. Still, we hope this will give the reader a basic idea of where most companies are located.

If you know of one we missed, or one we got wrong, don’t hesitate to send us a message, or comment here. Thanks!

FWIW I heard the HC delays are....

due to companies calling for inspections and failing first time. If they don't pass they have to 1) fix the problem and more importantly 2) go back to the end of the line. So the pickier HC is, the longer the delays, and HC can be as picky as it wants....An informal mechanism for controlling the number of licenses?......

Not sure if this is true but that's what I heard...

I honestly think HC is tremendously backed up, and couple that with a brand new industry to prepare for. They have to make regulations and look at all the angles. I don't blame HC, there's no reason or benefit to rush this, not an industry of this magnitude. Build it right and the $ will come w/out dirt.

Take a step back and think about it, this is an industry that has a ton of skepticism and it's under a very detailed microscope. Some want this industry to fail in any manner or fashion so they can say "see, I told you so". This isn't a tech industry where there's no naysayers. Most industry's don't have a bad stigma attached, most industry's benefit the evolution of man, as does this one, but a lot of people have been conditioned to think this is the devils weed.

Patience is a virtue, it will happen.
