lastchoice - Concerning the 8/01/05 date

JMHO - But it seems the settlement is with Tantivy for units produced prior to 8/1/05 at one royalty rate and after that date at a different royalty rate by virtue of a licensing agreement with IDCC. This is pretty slick (MO) in that IDCC can cut LU a break on the royalty owed Tantivy without invoking MFL clauses in IDCC's other contracts at the lower rate but rather at the stated rate in the new LU license. I like it a lot! NOTE this is just speculation on my part.
