spider69. I know this is over simplified.

Number 1 senario. Nok owes us 200 mil. We give them a 50 mil discount so they sign up with our 3g going forward. Makes sense ... it seems.

Number 2 senario. We have no 2g award. We give them 50 mil to sign up for 3g going forward. Same cost. ... 50 mil. Only this time, it's our money we're giving them. Same as in number 1 though. It's still our money we're giving them.

Makes no sense to give them 50 mil either way. .. .. Go for the award and worry about 3g later on the strength of what idcc has. Maybe there's a good thing about relations, but in the end for any company .. and for you and me. .. its all about money.

We have it or we don". If we do, then "shove it down their throat" and then be really nice with negotiation on 3g. If we don't get a nice award, do you think nok gives a whack about Idcc, you or me? ... nic
