No the judge did not do us any favor!
She does not have any secret agenda so that EC can get any dollars either!

She is just doing her job. We have to look at the things objectively. The judge also said:

".......First it’s clear to me that this debtor has been investigated to death and I’m sure that even the most experienced and talented examiner that the UST could appoint would NOT “find any stone unturned.” ............."

"..........I don’t think it is fair to the creditors in this case, to be saddled with the costs of an investigation into systemic problems that would only benefit future parties, but not benefit the parties in this case........"

I am all for WaMu. I am a preseziure holder who bought this stock by trusting the statement of the WMI's statement saying that they have enogh cash.. I also strongly believ that it was a BIG criminal setup the way they seize WaMu. I lost big on this (for me) and I cry for that every single day!

However, this should not make us put sugar coating on every single decision the judge makes or on every single thing happens.
