Accually on c-span yesterday Mr. T Boone Pickins testifying before a Senate hearing stated that his geological team has believes that ANWR doesn't have the oil reserves as contemplated by industry officials. I don't know who to believe,however T Boone has a pretty good record. Another question put to Mr. Pickins,can we drill ourselves out of our current world wide oil crunch. He emphatically said no way. The world has peaked and its all down hill from here. He did tout that natural gas and renewable sources of energy was the only way to go and even this process will take a few years.
