sorry .. if you don't have the votes .. you stand doesn't mean a darn thing ... as you have all ready seen on the Iraq bills , the Child health care bill , etc.. there are more .. remember Jim Webs bill - to give our 'guys' more time in between trips to Iraq .. ?? .. repubs defeated that also .

you don't like go to act blue .. one of their main purposes is getting rid of blue dog dems ...

it was a miracle that we took that tiny, tiny majority in the Senate .. however .. you need 60 votes to override a veto .. + some of the blue dogs we helped to elect come from very, very conservative areas .. that never vote dem ...and we - the progressive side of the dem party helped to get them elected - so now .. ooops .. we have to continue to fight for progressive candidates and withhold money to the blue dogs which is what is happening ..

I am just pragmatic .. I'm not spending my time on something unless I have a darn good chance of accomplishing it .. look how foolish dems have looked for making the stands they have .. over and over again .. the veto ...
