CarlinNM: you are spot on. The terms have specific meanings which should be understood. There are a lot of smaller steps, and there is a time variation depending on multiple factors , but in general the process goes like this:

1.Filing ( application date), 2. Publication( approximately 6 months later), 3. Review (ongoing, and can have multiple iterations/clarifications, additional info submissions, time variable), 4. Allowance (or rejection, again with iterations possible, time variable, and fees must be paid), 5.Issue ( Official grant or "issuing" approximately 1 month or less after fees are paid).

I am on the patent site for other purposes, and I post what I find for other's awareness. It is all publicly available.

The diamondoid patent was allowed, and fees due 1 Feb 24. So issuance a few weeks later say early March 24 or earlier.

FInally, I agree MZ group is not the greatest, but also believe the strings are pulled by LWLG, so I wouldn't be too upset with MZGroup. LWLG typically waits until issuance before any PR, although I don't think this is an absolute rule.
