Thank you. In all honesty, I’ve never interacted with a foundry or a foundry PDK.

I’m not 100% sure of how a test modulator using an EOP would be produced in a foundry. I would presume it depends on the foundry. I believe Lebby said as much.

Bard, for what it’s worth, reported that PDKs are large and complex pieces of software.

I do recall Lebby indicating in a presentation slide that a small foundry is easier to write a PDK for than a larger foundry and requires significantly less time.

Lebby’s recent remarks on PDKs is that they are working to get their technology accepted into foundry PDKs.


I agree with everyone on this board that Lebby is an intelligent individual. I believe he knows what he is saying, and he knows the difference between a fact and a forward-looking statement. I believe he knew his words and chose them according to what he wanted to communicate.

His statement in the 10-Q said nothing, absolutely nothing about a completed PDK. That is fact.

I don’t think it was an oversight.

It would be nice if he clarified, and yet I believe he was being clear, which, is rare.
