Is a reference to a PDK in any foundry as "complete" even a relevant word to describe a PDK in an industry where technology is always advancing and changing?

I am pretty sure that Dr. Lebby has used the word "operational PDK". In my view, that may be as good as it gets. Perhaps "production PDK" may someday be used. Or 'our technology is included in commercial foundry PDKs"

Personally, I am not even looking for the phrase "completed PDK" to come up, ever. If it does great, but so far I do not see the term being thrown around by anyone.

I could easily change my view on this if you provide some examples for awareness that would inform me differently on the use of the term "completed PDK"

I think people do not understand that a working PDK from a foundry allows Modulators to be made and sent back to Lightwave Logic.
In this sense it is operational. What on earth is a completed PDK?

No such thing until an OEM steps in an asks the T-1 for design changes for their devices.
This means the PDK will be adjusted for that particular OEM device and when done it would be considered completed for that particular design.
So in that sense the PDK is completed but only for that designed device. A new device means a new design which means an adjustment to the PDK.

There are individuals on this message board, because of their ignorance, manufacture complete nonsense in their discussions hoping the rest of us are taken up by this nonsense.

Enough already. Go learn.
