I don't believe it is. I believe Merrit was talking 3g not 2g devices. If HTC manufactures 3g phones for Nokia, then they have to pay because Nokia (nor anyone else for that matter) has a paid up license for 3g devices. If they manufacture a 2g device for a company who has a paid up 2g license, then the situation is different and I believe they won't have to pay. Like I said, call Janet and confirm. But like I also said, you won't and you will continue to spread your opinion without getting it direct from the company because your opinion is the only one that matters to you.
