IMO:Your post is 100% in conflict with Merritt's statement in his presentation....

Have you asked Janet this question? I doubt very much if a licensee that has a fully paid up license for GSM like Nokia has after 12/31/06, that the ODM will be required to pay royalties on units manufactured for that fully paid up licensee. These products will not be royalty bearing to IDCC otherwise the fully paid up licensee would be paying twice. Nokia will have a pass through credit for those IMO.

It will be just like when a licensee such as Sharp (if they did this) has someone like HTC manufacture a phone for them. Sharp would get a credit for the royalties paid by HTC. If they didn't then they would in effect be paying royalties twice for the same phone. If you don't believe me, give Janet a call, but I am sure you won't bother to ask and you will continue to spread your opinions that many times are wrong.

I really do not have the breakdown..but IDCC will be paid for GSM/EDGE Subscriber units sold by Nokia,Samsung, Motorola, NEC, S/E provided they sign some more ODM's like Arima and Quanta..HTC has upgraded to only selling HTC branded units..
