I know the person who recommended that this person get into the trial. In fact, there were three pancreatic cancer patients at MD Anderson who this person knew at the time who they encouraged to enter the trial. Alan Butler was the only one who did. Unfortunately, the other two people died rather quickly, within 3 to 6 months.

I don't think the video was what Dr. Buzdar took exception with, although you are correct in that Dr. Buzdar had absolutely nothing to do with the trial at all. It was Dr. Vivek Subbiah's trial.

Perhaps the video played some sort of minor role, but it was never mentioned in The Street article Adam wrote. Buzdar's complaints were primarily regarding the press releases that the company had put out regarding "an early peak" from the open label, Phase 1 Direct trial.
