Thanks Senti, I was not here at the time and the article you linked to is more detailed than the one I saw, which made no reference to details, and was vague. Not sure how that is the case, but this article is more detailed. I would not want to revive the ridiculous debate however.
The early days of Car-T discussions, including an entire article in NEJM on ONE patient, in an ongoing trial, belie the good doctors claim. I think this was perhaps a case of the nature of opportunity for a doctor to give a quote, and be in the limelight rather than an informed decision, which is why I believe nothing ever came of it. And Adam seems to me to always be the one to seek an opportunity to put himself smack dab in the middle of a disinformation campaign about one of the very many, good faith efforts by very many, small and innovative companies with what often could be breakthrough technologies that are despised by rivals, even medical rivals.
How did Adam and the doctor discover each other, I wonder?
