And it’s actually a false headline. I am shocked the company did not push The Street to revise it with a cease and desist letter. The Hospital did not rebuke NWBO, a reporter called a random doctor and falsely described a set of facts that allowed him to finagle a quote which he then mischaracterizes as a statement from the hospital. The basis of the “rebuke” was a fundraising video put out by a patient who happens to work for National Geographic, talking about his own treatment, clearly anecdotally, for the Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser from which I expect MD Anderson Cancer Center gets funds.

This is a complete deception, this article. And Dr. Buzdar, as I recall had a absolutely nothing to do with the DCVax Trial at MD Anderson.

It’s a false light article. They really should have gone hard after Adam for this article.

That whole hullabaloo was about this video:

And I believe NWBO had absolutely nothing to do with that video, that is a guy, doing a clip, for a fundraiser, about his own treatment. They were reasonably happy to see his result however. That entire situation is a case study in how some stock writers in the biotech sector take things to deeply questionable levels to make headlines for themselves and to create false accolades for being “investigative” in their focus. Total BS.

Around the same time, CAR-T treatment was being blown up on anecdotal evidence by Vice Media, and Adam did and said nothing. The blowback would have destroyed him. The winds were too strong on that bubble, but those treatments actually killed patients, but they were also backed by big money and big Pharma, and they would have crushed him like a big, plus hard to believe they do not feed him stories. That guy! All just my personal opinion.
