LOL, okay, a lot of these companies use S-8 to raise $$$, they call them "consultants". S-8 scams are quite common...

I don't think they're nearly as common as they were 20 years ago, when the SEC cracked down. Much less fuss if you just use an S-1, or turn to a toxic funder.
