Some new systems on those aircraft. Boeing at fault for not using an activation warning light for that MCAS system to make the pilots aware it was activated. After the Lion Air disaster and a fault in that system being partially to blame every 737 max pilot should have been fully aware of its function and how to turn it off. 4 1/2 minute interview with an outside expert if you're interested in it. I lost a very dear friend in the Tenerife disaster

It's nice to have a lot of horsepower in the engine room but you need some in the wheelhouse too.
