Durable is not overrated. Ask Bruce Cespedes Frazier D'Arnaud Lagares Syndergaard

Gonzalez came here because he was cheap and might work. Hosmer would not have been cheap.

Cheap being the operative word here.

I also liked the Frazier signing over Moustakas. He was cheaper, and could have been salary dumped at the deadline if healthy. Also a potential first baseman.
