He does not have to request the leave to travel. His lawyers were barking up the wrong tree by attempting to squash the subpoena. They really should have STHU.

Now the DOJ has said he is free to travel to DC only.

He can show up take the 5th then go back to NY.

Otherwise he is in contempt.

This really is not that complicated.
