They want people to believe it was due to feedback after the failed launch but do you really think that after the launch they got a bunch of people from the Philippines telling them how badly they wanted their services? Where would these people have even heard of Paychest in the first place?
Chances the "demographic study" was Kirby bringing the Philippines idea to the table, Mariandro then pulled up the report that's been quoteed in PR after PR, and they started the pump.
Too bad the whole thing hinges on a successful launch and advertising campaign- something they're incapable to pulling off. A global company doesn't start up with no cash.
