1. Yates is no longer on the Board
2. From the latest 8-k: "Generation Next has paused the sale of new franchises". With no selling of new franchises why would they need Yates or the other sales staff? Check with the company.
3. Don't know what stock he has retained after giving up his options.
4. Yes, except possibly for the last one and the one coming on later this month, but that doesn't mean they would be influenced by him if he's no longer with the company, and maybe it's due to their efforts that he is where he is. Just speculation on my part.
doesitreallymatter, what really matters is that there is a new Sheriff in town at VEND, with the last Sheriff having ridden away into the sunset, and that he is totally focused on 'righting the ship' with the help of a newly formed group of franchise owners and investors. If there truly are material errors in VEND's filings it would be helpful to bring them to his attention so that they can be corrected. jmho….
360k shares traded over the past few minutes (~3.45 pm) between 0.622 and 0.633, with the bulk of the trades at or over 0.63.
.625 on nearly 500k shares traded at 10:30.
250k shares in last 15 minutes!
Especially with the 100,000 shares traded in the last 15 minutes!!
I believe your last paragraph describes what is currently going on. Time will tell if it’s successful. jmho
Bid right now 30 min before the opening is 9.40 but that could change.
“A combination of limited stope inventory and operational issues resulted in lower-than-planned tonnes, grade and ounces in September, which impacted third quarter gold production.”
“we now expect that the fourth quarter will be consistent with the third quarter and have adjusted our full-year 2019 production guidance to between 340,000 to 350,000 ounces of gold production, an approximate 15% decrease from the midpoint of our prior production guidance range of 390,000 to 420,000 ounces of gold sold. “
Sorry, working from my phone and submitted by error.
Was going to add that there are not too many positive posters currently as they seem to be waiting to see what the company does.
BTW, be forewarned that many of the negative posters don’t hold stock in the company but are watching from afar, eg officiousintermeddle, doesitreallymatter, gdogg (not saying their posts aren’t worthwhile because they obviously read all the PRs and filings and offer intelligent comments), and then there is Sonata who does hold stock. You can scan the last 50-100 posts and see the various posters and their leanings.
Company has paused production of new robots because of a cash squeeze with liabilities exceeding assets. According to 8-k filed yesterday their plan is to reduce liabilities, install available machines at high volume retailers and raise cash to resume operations. Some believe they can execute plan, others believe they cannot. Need to make your own decision in that regard as they have both domestic and international backlog for installations if they are successful in executing plan. jmho....
IMHO, one of your maybes may be right....
The point I made was that if a price drop was on low volume it had more chance of recovering than if it was on high volume. Nothing about whether the price was real or fake.
P.S. obviously the mod squad is active because they are the ones deleting/reinstating posts.
Ok. We could keep going on with the bantering but I think the mod squad would be after us for off-topic posts. Let’s just wish each other success in our investing.
If your favorite stock ever reaches the level of VEND I’ll consider resigning my moderator position. If not, will you resign as moderator of your favorite?
Seems you should have sold when we suggested it and you could have bought a million shares of your other favorite stock. jmho
They brought in 6 opponents to the project and only Collier to defend it. Very biased.
See Post #3417
My faith is still strong..
I'm going to be out a lot these next days, so everyone behave
As I recall from some time ago, Atlanta was a problem with the franchisees and VEND offered a refund to them to get them out of their hair. There was a small difference between the two parties on the amount of the refund and Robotreats (Atlanta franchisee) sued for the difference.
Szostak is in Indiana, Robot Vending in Nashville (I believe) and Draw 27 in Illinois. I don't know the basis of their suits.
Lindstrom et al is the ex General Counsel and VEND missed the deadline on a payment to him and this is just a notice of default on payment, not a 'lawsuit' per se.
Now 0.565....been as high as 0.5687
Volume 1MM+
If you look at the signature page, it was signed Aug 31 by Yates and the two outside directors, so my guess is that it was with the auditors the rest of the time getting everything to their satisfaction. Don't know what had to be done to get their approval but it looks much more 'complete' than last year's report.
I have no reason to doubt that there are lawsuits from franchisees. I was pulling Yankeelover's chain for two reasons:
1. As an Astros fan with a 2-1 lead over the Yankees (although the series isn't over yet)
2. His 'third party' claim that sounded too much like current whistleblowers in the government
Hope you picked up the shares you wanted. 5 large after-market trades at 11.57 that all appeared to be buys totaling 1.645MM shares (1 for 1.561MM and four identical trades for 21,073, which could possibly be some shuffling between MM's)....Waiting to see what tomorrow brings....
Post 3355 always sounded far out to me - "I talked to a friend who talked to a franchisee who told him....." what is that - third hand information? Do you actually have a link to any of those supposed lawsuits?
Not that I'm saying you are untruthful, but if I came on and said "I talked with a friend who talked with a franchisee who told him that 200 robots had been installed last month", I expect you would rightly question me about the validity of my statement and ask for proof. As Sonata is fond of saying, jmho...
How were you able to get contact information on all the franchisees, or are you a franchisee also? I know a few and have their info but wouldn't know how to contact others.
"Am I right in thinking now that you only listen to and believe what comes directly from VEND themselves?"
No, not correct. I listen to all relevant comments and choose what to believe based on past experiences with the poster or whomever. And, this forum is not my only source of information, as well it should not be.
Thanks for the compliment - the 10-K due out next week would be from Ryan Polk, CEO/CFO, so we'll have to wait and see what it says (assuming it issues timely.)
Let me ask you a question. If 'someone', and all posters are anonymous, including me and you, says, "I know what happened to the 160 kiosks", and even if he/she was to go on and say, 'x number are here', 'y number are faulty', or whatever, are you able to determine whether those are truly factual statements or 'blowing smoke', to use your term? If so, you are smarter then me.
Not picking on anyone in particular, just concocting an example.
Alvie hasn't gone anywhere, although he's not fixated 24/7 to stock boards.
He's also patiently waiting on actual news rather than depending on anonymous postings about ex-employees, empty parking lots or 10-K, 10-Q's that are not forthcoming.
"somebody, or somebody's, really want shares of NAK. I wonder if someone knows something. "
If somebody 'knows something', they would be better off buying when the market was open than when it is closed.
Stock is down nearly 20% over the past 2 weeks. Maybe there is fear Trump won't be reelected and a Democrat may squash the permitting operation as they did under Obama.
In response to my request to Nick for a followup on today's 8-k, he sent me the following and said I was free to post it on IH:
"Alvie,
Resigning from the board gives potential lenders more confidence. We all know I’m a better sales/marketing person than I am CEO/Chairman. (Here come the insults and jokes)
Giving back my options allows the company to raise money with less dilution for shareholders. It’s already been well received. I’m pleased with this decision.
Focusing my attention on developing new business is what the board and Ryan our new CEO wants me to do, including me. Locations, new structure for franchise sales and international licensing the main focus.
Having an independent board making good decisions for the shareholders is in everybody’s best interest also. I really like this board we have put together and like who we are talking to for possible future seats.
Thanks for your support.
Nick"
To continue my previous reply,
When the bid dropped to $0.21 at 12:35 pm, 109k shares had been sold and only 11k bought - what I would term a 'small' dump.
Between then and the close at $0.395, there were an additional 60k shares bought and only 18k sold - a recovery, if you will.
jmho
My 'point' is that it's possible to recover from a small dump because there are still people who want to accumulate. In case of a large dump, there would be very little chance of recovery, at least in the near term. jmho
This is a small 'dump' - the big guys aren't dumping according to my 'sources'. jmho
"I hope I didn't forget to thank you when you gave me that fabulous advice, to average down when we were at .60"
Some you win, some you lose. I also advised you, twice, to sell and move on, so using your scorecard analogy, I'm batting 0.667 - one miss and two hits...jmho
"Notification That Annual Report Will Be Submitted Late (nt 10-k)"
"Is it anticipated that any significant change in results of operations from the corresponding period for the last fiscal year will be reflected by the earnings statements to be included in the subject report or portion thereof ? Yes x No ¨
If so, attach an explanation of the anticipated change, both narratively and quantitatively, and, if appropriate, state the reasons why a reasonable estimate of the results cannot be made.
Revenues for the Company increased to an estimated $16,579,044 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2019 compared to $137,029 for the prior year. The Company’s net loss decreased to an estimated $18,977,300 for the year ending June 30, 2019 from a net loss of $19,536,192 for the prior year."
"the K is officially late" Is it? It's due Monday. Let's see if it issues or not.
Interesting. Haven't seen any of that. Maybe it will be in the 10-k due out Monday.
Why would franchisees choose to post on this investor board where the ones that do get crucified for whatever they say, which I admit is not always politically correct? They have their own Facebook Group where they can exchange information between one another and they also have mechanisms for communicating with the company. They certainly don't need this board. jmho
