- It's true - I have pancreatic cancer. With luck I'll see Christmas 09.

I applaud the effort here. Lets see what happens
You seem convinced that Grassley will really do something.
Just what is it you expect to happen?
Might only be coincidence, but could LB from the lawsuit be Lance?
So the Civil case will not proceed until the Criminal case has been resolved.
Makes sense.
This development might be interesting.
The more shareholders that contact Senator Grassley, the better.
With luck, all 10 of the shareholders who finished the last survey will jump on board with you.
The louder he talked of his honor, the faster we counted our spoons.

So I was right, huh? Your previous answers were deliberatly too specific concerning the 80k...
Why the subterfuge?
In the meantime, BCIT will be delisted.
A fruit left too long on the vine....
Thanks for clearing that up.
".. but i never got paid from adam rosengard.. "
Thats the 2nd or 3rd time you said that - and it strikes me as very specific. Perhaps too specific.
Maybe Rosengard never paid you, but were you paid $80k from anyone else?
Well done!
I have a much better idea for a list.
Why don't you keep an updated list on all the things Megas will do within the next 60 days to save BCIT from being delisted?
I greatly enjoyed his purported email to Dow Jones.
I have complete faith that Megas will do nothing.
Poof!!
I understand it perfectly.
BCIT shares go 'poof' out of your trading account on or after July 31st. You need only to successfully plead your claim to Megas to acquire the new Energy Source shares... unless of course you are happy to hold shares in the name of BCIT.
But the shares will be gone from your trading account.
You are a "shareholder of record".... aren't you?
'POOF' - your BCIT shares will disappear from your trading account on or after July 31st.
You will then have to prove to Megas that your shares in BCIT qualify for new Energy Source shares... and I'm sure there will be no problem with that, right?
Good luck with that.
Thats right - 'poof' go your BCIT shares after July 31.
You don't really think Megas will give you certs/shares in Energy Source, do you?
Of course, maybe a strong email campaign starting NOW from all those who remain hopeful will convince Megas/Energy Source to commit to honoring all our public shares.
Not very likely... but it could happen. After all, a few here think he's a man of honor.
BCIT is just 1 of 51,000 stinkie pinkies that face FINRA delisting on July 31st.
How many of those - like BCIT - were hoping to move to the OMX?
If Megas were serious, he'd do what ever it takes to have his application to the OMX on file and active... if he has any money left.
Just sayin is all.....
Not much, I think. The Dorroughs may decide to fight the new owners... the new owners have yet to file a name change with the SEC... etc.
Much too complicated to scry the future.
BHUB is now Capital Consultants Funding... name change filed on 4/20/2009

You don't think Megas will fight this? Maybe go kicking and screaming to the SEC and yell about the shorts? Blame the DTCC for being corrupt and complicit?
Hmmm... somehow I expected a vigorous defense... lol
I expect to see my BCIT shares disappear from my account on July 31
I do not expect to see new shares added to my account for Energy Source at any time.
BCIT to be delisted 06/01/09

I'll just 'fashion time as my friend' while I wait for the delisting.
Thanks for your viewpoint, Jim. Shame you won't moderate here.
For years I've lurked and shadowed both you and Janice, and if theres one thing I've learned its that you two get more grief than most posters I know.
You guys have spent your time in the saltmines. Janice has an educated mind, while yours seems to be a natural "horse sense" type of profile. But you've both shared what you know - and what you think - without hesitation... and sometimes that wasn't easy.
Those who say that you receive special treatment have a point... but it only goes so far. You both should receive special consideration because of your continuing contributions here.
In my opinion, people like you and Janice make IHUB a better place.
Any good lawyer representing Matt would start out by compiling his personal vitae - and I think thats whats missing here.
For instance...
1) Where and when was Matt Brown born?
2) Any siblings? Parents still married?
3) What schools did he attend. What diplomas/degrees?
4) Has Matt had any medical problems. Is he recently/currently taking any prescription medication?
5) What is Matt's employment record?
6) Has Matt ever been arrested, or charged with any crime?
7) Has Matt ever been married? Does he have any children?
The questions could go on and on, of course, but you get my point... no one really knows Matt Brown the man.
Matt didn't suddenly spring onto the world stage at the age of 17 or 18 fully prepared - and with the skill set - to build Investors Hub. And at some point, Matt developed a keen interest in the stock market. Who were his mentors... who did he learn from?
My head is spinning from all the info and circumstantial evidence being presented here Janice. But I have to say it makes me feel a bit more secure that you are the lead mod here, and wanted to thank you for taking on the task.
I'm a bit surprised that both you and Bishop are keeping your thoughts/DD to yourselves - but perhaps thats wise at this point.
Re Matt: I'm only certain about one thing... it is difficult to focus on facts when so few are available, and when so many present what appears to be a breadcrumb trail that, taken as a whole, could easily sway one to abandon objectivity.
I'm still clinging to only the facts... but damned if it isn't tempting to make the leap and make a judgement call here.
FWIW, I fully endorse the idea that Matt needs to be relieved of his duties - or voluntarily withdraw from IHUB for the time being.
Here's where they nailed Matt....
g. In or about January 2007, M.R., an unindicted co-conspirator, delivered to J.M., an unindicted co-conspirator, approximately $220,000 in cash proceeds from the sale of GH3 shares, which proceeds were ultimately intended for M.B., an unindicted co-conspirator, and defendant DYNKOWSKI.
What an outrageous response to such a serious issue. Shame on you, Clem!!
I've read every single post on this board - being frozen out as a "free" member left me with a lot of time... (sigh)
Scion is a real treasure and I thank him for his efforts.
Investors Hub needs new management. Allowing a noveaux-riche 26 year-old nerd to completely control the public content of its business is/was a recipe for disaster.
One could argue that part of Matts job with ADVFN was to support the "pump" since that is the business of IHUB... lots of people hate him for that, but that seems to be a pretty accurate description of part of his duties.
In that sense, being wined & dined by pumper crews would seem logical... maybe not ethical, but certainly expected.
It's the "dump" part that I'm struggling with... Matt may have made the introductions between the company and the pumper crew - but did he actually participate in (or have knowledge of) the "dump"?
The mechanics of operating a bulletin board would bring the owners/operators very close to the fine line here. Its a given that IHUB is in the business of being an accessory to the pump... its a natural part of their business.
But dumping shares? Laundering the money? Those are clearly over the line.
Perhaps Matt crossed the line somewhere - the question in my mind is did he do it unwittingly?
I think its a fair question!
Mayhap... but my take on Matts involvement seems to focus on being a middleman... making introductions. A CEO wants to pump his stock? Matt seems to have made the introductions.
I'm not convinced Matt abused IHUB... so far, very little evidence has been presented except for references such as "so-and-so met so-and-so on the Investors Hub chat board"...
It's obvious that some of those charged had some type of business relationship with Matt... and those relationships brought business to IHUB - something I'm sure was understood to be part of Matt's value to ADVFN. But the scarce evidence available does not seem to indicate anything more nefarious than a penchant for making referrals... and perhaps Matt received some sort of kickback for those referrals?
The bank accounts in Hong Kong and Costa Rica are perplexing, but as yet not entirely disclosed. Whose actual names were on those accounts? Could Matt make a withdrawal or wire transfer?
Matt became marginally wealthy when ADVFN bought IHUB. It just makes no sense that he would risk his fortune and his career on something so unsavory.
I don't understand the mindset it would take to travel down that road.
Even after 5 days... I'm still astonished.
I've tried, but I just can't get into the mindset of what has been revealed. I keep asking myself "why would Matt do these things?"
The $50k bail on the criminal charges seems excessively light - compared to the $500k bail for some of the others. It makes me wonder just how strong a (criminal) case they have against Matt?
I have started such a SQL database - with over 600 pinkies. Still have it....
It quickly became much too labor intensive for data entry, and I gave up on it in late 2007.
A fellow poster (serfdom) and I were going to start a company to document and track scams... but serfie bailed out. I think once he realized how enormous the endeavor had/would become it overwhelmed him.
It would take a large, well funded, well staffed organization to attempt anything serious.
Doing the right thing, the right way, at the right time?
That has not been a priority here on ihub.
I think it is cosmetically significant that Investors Hub was not indicted. The cosmetic prophylactic will disappear during the "discovery" phase, when ihub will obviously be subpoenaed for posting records and alias id's.
Unless all 8 or 9 defendants fall on their swords and plea bargain, ihub appears to really be in the crosshairs. They may not survive.
Any idea of the bond amount Matt had to post?
It seems unusual that Matt was charged seperately. Do you think that indicates a legal tactic to seperate him from the others?
Howdy jimmenknee - ain't this a kick in the butt?
This will be history making in more ways than one. Ole Matt should have his hands full thru the summer, at least.

It would appear there is some disagreement over who actually owns/controls BHUB.
Its Dorrough VS Joseph... quelle drama!!
Relax curbie - you been out in the weeds so long, I'm not surprised you know nothing... and never did.
